new year! it's the new year! i think it's time to change the layout too. though i'm still waiting for gackt news all the time, time to change something. maybe something gackt again. haha! ok wait till i find one lah.

oo lazy to blog. but since i'll be away for 2 weeks! shall just blog what happened the past few weeks. for the sake of some people WHO KEPT ASKING ME TO UPDATE. HAHA

the most important thing: MEI CAME BACK! weee!! halo marathon!

26th december
ivee's party! at her house! good food!
omg we had a damn fun time playing cranium. we have the bunch of j1s and the bunch of j2s chorale ppl. total 18 ppl

my group has the best of all i think. haha! tricia draws, chang acts, adrian's lit/playdough! and me..i threw 3 consecutive purple die!! i think i got the tactic to throw the die. whoohoo!

oh! i got my ff12 and doc ps2 games. but WHY IS IT IN JAP!? and I DUN HAVE A PS2 CONSOLE. and i got my 2 manga vol. freshly bought from taiwan!! i seriously can't find this series anymore here. why!! i'm so glad that i completed the series. THANKS JEFF! owe u lunch. (and i doubt i'll ever return the debt)

27th december
chorale xmas party!
ate bbq, and played some games. i knew it! i knew it that i'll get the parcel when the music stops. lucky the people whose bdays that are nearest to mine are all girls. wahahha. other than that, it was nice again to see some of the missing people.

28th december
lunch with mei,sam,ann,samling&pat!! ate ding tai feng at wisma. and then we went to samling's house to play halo!! and i got hold of bleach manga!!! omg! THANKS SAM!! from vol.3 to 24!!! weee!!

tried out the 2 ps2 games he gave me. and started playing american idol and naruto 3. fan girl! omg i think it's a little invincible. haha. i can still remember samk's laughter when she used the fan girl! anyway, fan girl is temari i think.

29th december
KOR&CASS CAME BACK!

xx's hotel stayover! but i didn't stay over.
reached there in the evening and went for dinner at glutton's bay. damn ex!
and then we went to esplanade roof terrace and chat. actually we were playing zong ji mi ma. omg i like kena dunno how many times lah. 2nd place haha. 1st place is wenjun! haha! my best friend huh! so i had to dance gorilla dance around the circle, star jump around the circle and tried to pole dance but of coz i wun.

then went back to the room for more ps2 naruto game and bridge!

reached damn early. haha. watched a little cromate(i think) high school. it's so random. played guitar heros! it's like ddr but using a game guitar. it's damn fun. and it's damn cool too! then there's another one with singing. i suck lah. english songs aren't my type.

2nd january 2007!
dinner with mei,sam,ann,wq!!! ate mosburger at taka. arcade at marina square and macs ice cream. wq is still as funny as ever lah.

Met in orchard lib (i borrowed feng shui detective!), dinner at mos, arcade, macs icecream. One night summerised in 1 line, wheee. Haha, reminiscing about all the funny in stuff in sec4, funny lines wenqing or mei said or what mrloh said to mei, hahahaha

3rd january
baking/ps marathon/halo marathon gathering at sam's house.
reached kap at 9+. BOTH SAM AND WQ ARE STILL ASLEEP! even mei haven't reach! ate a bloody ex harshbrown at kap macs and read the bleach manga.
went to cold storage to buy the ingredients and walked all the way to sam's house. damn long lah. lucky it wasn't raining.
we baked fortune cookies! but to make it more interesting we were actually baking ORANGE MISFORTUNE COOKIES!

i wrote lotsa nonsensical stuff, like hope u dun have toilet paper when using the toilet, hope a ps3 drop from the sky blah blah.

in the end we aren't interested in baking anymore, coz it's too sweet. =p so we played metal slug! halo! puzzle bobble! i own the game man!! WAHAHAHA. i have no idea why suddenly i became so good at it. maybe speed is the factor.

anw halo! damn funny! at first we played slayer i think. then we changed to juggarnaut. damn fun too. and last but not least, king of hills! having a vehcile (omg i can't rmb the names already) oh! warthog (not that good), the other one, the alien one is damn cool. and we made the hill move every 30 secs.

And today gathering at my house. Damn funny, i think one of the prime reasons why we gathered was cause we owed each other stuff. Like, huimin owes wenqing conan cds, wenqing owes huimin feng shui book, wenqing owes mei monkey island cd, which me and huimin happily took and used as well, i owe ann dvds, huimin owes sam ling mangas, i owe sam ling umbrella, uh..,.mei giving me her ps1 and her arcade gun and her ps1 games, WHEEEEEEEEE. I'm so happy i can play time crisis and other arcade games and die without having to toss in another coin everytime tht happens (which is ALOT) And like what mei says, i can play and train and memorise the game, den go intot he arcade and hog the machine, play from beginning to end and start again, play with one hand, play with eyes closed..hahahaha. And this holiday have discovered a love for shooting games. Its really really alot of hand eye coordination which i sorely lack =S

So..fortune cookies making today. Orange dye...=S And it didn't turn out too well...
Then halo marathon. 4 people halo!And bubble bobble marathon. where everyone tries to beat huimin. She's too good. (haha!!)

anw it's the last time i see mei. she's leaving on the 6th! =( but who knows sam and i are going to visit her tmr!!!! WEE!! exciting! it's gonna just be 2 girls flying all the way to nyc!

so after all these busy parties/gatherings. i decided to get on with my piano. since i have a rcm audition on the 10th. i dunno whether it's a blessing in disguise or wad. but it has definitely showed me something that i have always been comtemplating.

10th january
rcm audition.

i went there early, hoping to prac a bit if there's a holding room. who knows they cancelled a holding room and i have to stand there to wait. so i walked about and i met fls. at that time ssy's brother and his mum were having piano lesson. and fls told me in front of them:
'i spoke to the 3 panels before and i mentioned that you have not been taking any lessons. if you deproved or anything serious happen to your piano playing, i say that it's not my business and fault....'

HOW CAN SHE SAY THAT TO HER!?

so anw i went for the audition. at that time i'm was so slow to even comprehend her words. screwed up my playing. that i blamed for myself. not enough practise. rather every time i tried to practise i got really really sian. and playing the piano now isn't my peak period. unlike sec3. every piece i think i've stopped and continue at least 3 times. luckily i can continue. but that isn't the point.

after playing was the interview. i told the 3 of them that i haven't had lessons for the past year, knowing that they already knew beforehand. (maybe i shouldnt' have said that) well they thought that it was really strange for me to not have lessons yet apply for music performance. they explained that it was the committment they are looking for. when the ultimate question came, i was really scared. they asked, if in the future there were no piano-playing at all for your life, is it possible or impossible? i was really scared to answer this, because i have not settle what i want. i'm still wandering about thinking (or not thinking). i was so scared that i cried, in front them. i have no idea what's the real reason i cried: was it because i screwed the playing? or was it because i was scared because i dunno the answer in my heart?

i answered impossible, but when i came out of the room and thought about it, it's actually impossible without music. i can do a lot of things with music. there's education, therapy, pedagogy, technology etc.! why must i restrict myself into performing? rather than playing them myself, i probably would rather listen to other great pianists doing so and not spoil the piece. well i guess that's the answer i have always been looking for.

ate dinner with kor and parents. steam crabs!

11th january
lunch with sam and ann! at wisma food court! the hokkien mee is so dry. ugh. went to ann's house. wanted to watch devil's wear prada. but her stupid dvd refuse to work. so we started slacking around, play hula hoop, play some concentration game, watch tv, ate instant udon haha. and then i rushed down to jumbo restaurant to meet with my parents/kor&cass/her family side. ate more! haha. food was not bad though. =)

13th january
woke up damn early so that i could take my parent's car and buy air tix.
went to see the doc for my skin problem. it's damn itchy. ezcema?
and went to see kor&cass off in the airport at night. their luggage overweight by 25kg = 700+bucks! holy cow! started packing somewhere in the corner and the weight dropped to 41kg. sigh sad that they were leaving. =(


so this is super long post! as promised my SOME PEOPLE. =) maybe i'll post again in mei's house during the 2weeks. if not i'll be penning them down on paper and i'll probably be too lazy to even blog them again, seeing that there's no entries about my finland/budapest/vienna/olomouc trips. =p
